  • Important Information Regarding Kindergarten

As a public school, Folsom Hills Elementary adheres to the age requirements set by the California Department of Education (CDE) which states that children applying for Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1, 2016, which translates to their birthday being on or before September 1, 2011. If your child was born after this date, please wait until the 2017-18 school year to apply for Kindergarten at Folsom Hills. If your child was born between September 2, 2011 through December 31, 2011 and you live within the boundaries of Folsom Hills, you may consider looking into our Transitional Kindergarten.
