  • Update: District and FCEA reach tentative agreement
    Teachers will receive an ongoing salary increase of 7.5 percent over two years, and Folsom Cordova Unified will contribute more toward teachers’ health care premiums, in a tentative agreement reached Tuesday, April 21 between the District and the Folsom Cordova Education Association (FCEA).

  • News from the Food Services Department

  • Summer School Information
    This year, summer school will be offered for a variety of programs, including: remediation for grades 1-3, grades 6-12, and eligible ESY and EL students; and elementary summer enrichment for GATE-identified students

  • Volunteers needed as math tutors
    The Folsom Cordova Unified School District is seeking math-friendly community members willing to volunteer as tutors to middle and/or high school students at the following Rancho Cordova schools:
    • Mills Middle School, 10439 Coloma Road: Tuesdays and Thursday, 7:15-8:15 a.m.
    • Mitchell Middle School, 2100 Zinfandel Drive: Thursdays, 1:40-3:10 p.m.
    • Cordova High School, 2239 Chase Drive: Thursdays, 1:40-3:30 p.m. 
    Participants must complete District volunteer paperwork, including TB testing and background check. To volunteer, please contact Angela Griffin Ankhelyi at (916) 294-9000.

    If you, or someone you know, would like assistance quitting smoking or using other tobacco products, there is help available.  Please refer to the attached list of community based resources that offer free or low cost assistance in tobacco cessation.
