Project Description:
Renovate playfields; provide digital marquee sign and
site map signs; replace chain-link fence along street
with six foot high decorative iron fence; provide trash
enclosure; at courtyards, provide concrete bases for
tables and pathways; replace old walkways; enhance entry
walkways to administration building; repair irrigation
pipes in front of Unit A and D; provide a shade
structure; extend the parking lot to allow for 70 staff;
new bus drop-off area to allow for (2) full-size buses
and (1) mini-bus; old bus drop-off to be converted to
parent drop-off; relocate the hard courts into the
playfield; provide new basketball backstops and
tetherball poles; provide sealcoat and striping; provide
fly fan for Kitchen; improve ventilation in Kitchen;
move Library to Room 3 and convert old library to a
conference room and RSP offices; repair HVAC; provide
video surveillance; provide exterior lighting at 1)
between Computer Lab, Kindergarten, and portables, 2)
entry; and improve security for bike rack area and
provide new bike rack.
Project Funding:
The project construction cost is
$2.6 million and is funded from Measure N.
Project Timeline:
The project began in May 2009 and will be complete by August 2009.
