Peter J. Shields
Elementary School serves grades K-5. The school is located on 9.22
acres in Rancho Cordova. The original permanent buildings were
established in 1961 and 1962 and were modernized in 1999. The
multipurpose room was added in 1991. The student care relocatable
building was added in 1989. Three county-owned relocatable buildings
were placed in 1992. The art preparation relocatable building was
placed in 1997. A trailer was placed in 1997 for use by the resource
specialist program.
