Project Description:
Convert
metal shop to a standard classroom; reconfigure home economics to
provide six teaching stations; reconfigure art room to provide compliant
location for installation of kiln; installation of LCD projection system
in all classrooms; paint campus interiors as needed; replace floors,
ceilings, lighting and casework as needed; renovate kitchen area;
replace fire and intrusion systems; install new clock system; ADA
upgrades; repair parking lot lighting; replace door hardware; install
blinds or window coverings in classrooms; replace drinking fountains;
administration improvements; replacement of floor, bleachers and lights
in the gym; installation of sound system and acoustic improvements in
gymnasium; installation of security/video surveillance; locker room
renovation; installation of digital signage.
Project Funding:
The estimate construction cost is
$7.0 million. This project is being funded from Measure B and Measure N.
Project Timeline: The project began in
April 2007 and is scheduled for completion in February 2008.
