Project Description:  Provide new asphalt shingle roofing; provide dedicated male ADA accessible staff toilet room; expand Administration and Nurse area (ADA Toilet Room upgrade); provide Small Group Instruction room; update Library lighting; renovate track and playfield; relocate and replace bike rack; provide shade structure and benches; provide new landscaping including shade trees; provide new irrigation system; provide digital marquee sign; replace chain-link fence with decorative iron fence along streets; provide chain-link fence on property line adjacent to neighbors in order to eliminate access; replace old walkways to be ADA accessible; relocate c-tainers; provide new asphalt hard courts and ball wall; provide (2) full basketball courts; one with an 8’ hoop and one with a 10’ hoop; provide (5) tetherball, 4-square, hopscotch, kickball, circles, and (3) funnel ball; provide new kindergarten building with (2) classrooms, staff workroom, and (1) toilet room for each classroom; replace one old relocatable building; provide hard court, lawn, and apparatus areas; demolish existing Multipurpose building and provide new modular building; MP should contain restrooms, Cafeteria, Kitchen, Storage and seating area for a minimum of 400 students; provide PE Storage; provide enclosed delivery yard and trash enclosure; provide staff parking lot; provide Kindergarten drop-off and parking lot; and, provide visitor parking and bus drop-off.

Project Funding:  The project construction cost is $6.2 million and is funded from Measure N.

Project Timeline:  The project began in May 2009 and will complete by November 2009.
