Project Description: Renovate
classrooms with painting, countertops and sinks; repair
or replace casework and cabinets in classrooms and
library; install tackable wall surfaces to bring
classrooms up to district standard; reroute natural gas
line; demolish non DSA buildings and replace with one
new relocatable classroom and one new relocatable
band/staff/office building; soundproof multipurpose
room; improve site drainage; replace exterior drinking
fountains; reroute HVAC condensation lines; provide
cable television to all classrooms; renovate kitchen
area; repair irrigation system; paint and repair school
exterior; make improvements to classroom lighting;
replace flooring in kindergarten building.
Project Funding:
The estimate construction cost is
$700,000 and was funded by Measure B.
Project Timeline: The project began in June 2004 and
was completed by August 2004.
