Project Description: Includes
repair or replacement of the resilient all-weather
track; replacement of the football field with a new
synthetic turf field; replacement of the bleachers on
both sides of the stadium; renovation of the restroom
exterior and roofing; new heating and air-conditioning
system for Wing G; repaving of the bus loading area,
student parking, and hard court area; and, possible
improvements such as a snack bar that may be
incorporated into the stadium area, contingent on
volunteer funding.
Project Funding:
The project construction cost was
$4.4 million and was funded from Measure B.
Project Timeline:
The project began in April 2003 and was complete by
August 2003.
