Cordova High
School serves pupils in grades 9-12. The school is located on 51.24
acres and is adjacent to Mills Middle School in Rancho Cordova. The
original permanent buildings were established in 1961 and 1963 and were
modernized in 1999. The site was modernized in 2005. One relocatable
building was placed near the D-wing in 2000 and four additional
relocatable classrooms were added in 2004. Two relocatable classrooms
were added to the E-wing in 1996, five in 1996 and seven in 1999.
F-wing had two relocatable classrooms added in 1996, one in 2000, and
one in 2004. The student union relocatable building was installed in
1993. In 2004 the AJ Academy and computer lab were demolished and
replaced. Three additional relocatable classrooms added in 2004
included a standard classroom, science classroom and a special education
classroom.
