Project Description:
Removal and replacement of covered walkway roofing; removal of existing
HVAC systems in classrooms; roof framing demolition and reconstruction
required by the HVAC system upgrades; removal and replacement of the
existing suspended acoustical tile ceilings as necessary to accommodate
installation of the new HVAC systems and roof framing revisions;
replacement of the master clock and intrusion alarm system; minor ADA
upgrades to drinking fountains; remodel of administration; conversion of
two classrooms into new computer lab and library; replacement of door
hardware throughout campus; and alterations to site and landscaping.
Project Funding:
The estimate construction cost include architect and engineering fees is
$1.9 million. This project is being funded from Measure B and Measure N.
Project Timeline: The project began in June 2007 and is scheduled for completion by the
start of school.
