 START! Program
(Student Training About Repairing Technology)
The START! Program is the district's follow-up to
the successful SPIRIT Program.
Though no longer formally funded
by the Intel Corporation, generous technology donations from Intel, along with
other business and community members, are utilized in the delivery of
instruction on computer repair and refurbishing. Excess or unusable
donations are recycled, and the funds generated are used to support the program.
Students in the program also get the opportunity to repair school computers that
are below the district's line of support.
