Fox

A sly and sneaky carnivore.

There are five different species of foxes found in North America, the red foxes, gray foxes, swift foxes, kit foxes, and island foxes.

Male adult foxes are called dogs, tods, vixes, or reynards. Female adult foxes are labeled as vixens. Young foxes are named kits, cubs, or pups.

Foxes are often found in dens or hunting for their youngs. Some foxes are carnivorous mammal, while others are omnivorous. Foxes will eat fruits, berries, grasses, birds, small mammals, crickets, caterpillars, grasshoppers, beetles, and crayfishes. Amazingly, foxes continue to hunt even though they're full. It will store excess food under dirt, leaves, or snow.
