BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Mr. Hart wanted
to be a pilot since eighth grade and was one in the Air Force for twenty
years. He was fortunate to have a fantastic eighth grade social
studies teacher where he learned to love history, especially U.S. history.
That teacher was strict and demanding; he kind of didn't want to get her,
but he knew he would b better off if he did. She taught him how to
buckle down and prepare for life. Many of the things he learned from
her enabled him to succeed in life.
While in the Air
Force he was an instructor in various capacities many times. He
realized he liked teaching, so when he retired, he decided to become a
teacher. He wanted to teach eighth grade history and after teaching
many subjects in grades six through eight, he finally achieved his goal and
loves what he's doing.
