Mr. Collier's Past
Mr. Collier was born in
Travis Air Force Base, CA., but he was
raised in Fairfield CA. When Mr. Collier was little he wanted to be a
Physical Therapist or a PE teacher when he grew up. When he was in middle
school he was small, shy, and loved sports. He started thinking about
becoming a teacher when he was finishing high school and getting into
college. The college he attended was U.C. Davis.

What He Likes to
do and His Hobbies
Mr. Collier LOVES to travel. "It is
enjoyable to experience different cultures and interact with other people
from another region or country." (as he puts it) If he could go anywhere in the world he
would want to go to Europe. He is going there for the first time this
summer. On the weekends he either likes to do housework or coach wrestling.
Two of his favorite hobbies are coaching or spending time with his wife.

Teaching
Mr. Collier started teaching in the year
2000. In all he has taught 6 years. He currently teaches 6th grade P.E., but
used to teach 7th, 8th and 9th grade. He loves teaching because he
likes seeing kids learn, grow, mature, and have fun. Mr. Collier says that
one thing he likes about teaching is "having a positive influence on today's
youth." If Mr. Collier could teach anything else he would want to
teach science, because he enjoy classes that have labs, and that has more
hands on experience.
