Mrs. Carter is a friendly, nice    teacher whom was born and raised in Sacramento, California.
as a girl, mrs. carter wanted to be a lawyer and a mom. Mrs. carter enjoyed middle school, although she was pushed around by one girl at least once a week. besides the bullying, she made many friends, learning to trust herself more.  Mrs. carter attended sac state, u.c. Davis, and university of phoenix now as an adult, mrs. carter is married and has six children, who are Conor, Emily, Wendy, Tara, kayley, and Jacob. also, she has a sweet black lab named Sierra. her hobbies include backpacking, hiking, and participating in her children's boy scouts and girl scouts. mrs. carter's favorite color is green, and her favorite book is "gone with the wind". Mrs. carter doesn't have a favorite restraunt, but she prefers any restraunt that has good service and does the dishes. Mrs. carter's favorite sports teams are any team her kids are on, in this case the Folsom high

MRS. CARTER IN A-9, TEACHING HER  8TH GRADE CLASS DURING 7TH PERIOD.

school bulldogs and the Folsom sea otters. her dream car is the 911 Porsche, which she and her husband purchased last year.  her favorite type of music is Motown (60's and 70's), and she loves traveling, experiencing other cultures and seeing what they have in common with us. she has been to Canada; Mexico; England; France; and Germany, but she still wants to see Africa and Australia. on the weekends, Mrs. Carter watches her son's football game; cleans her house; goes to church; goes on a date with her husband and tries to relax. before deciding to become a teacher, Mrs. carter spent 25+ years as a mother. the reason Mrs. Carter became a teacher is because she needed a job, but she knew she wanted it to do with teens. last year, Mrs. carter did her student teaching at Folsom middle school. This year is her first year teaching. she is teaching math course 2 and algebra to seventh and eighth graders, but she also would love to teach english. she said that she loves to write, and she would love to teach students how to write creatively. although it is only her first year teaching, she already has a favorite memory. it is when students understand a concept. she loves helping teens discover they are special and can learn to believe in their own power to grow and make good decisions by not following "the crowd." What she loves most about teaching is making challenges that youth would enjoy. So there you have it, your inside scoop on the wonderful teacher, Mrs. Carter.
