Transcript Requests

Official/unofficial transcripts can be requested using the
online transcript request form. Allow one business day for your request to be processed.
Please note we do not notify you when it's ready for pick up.Current Vista del Lago studentsUnofficial Transcripts- do not have the official school seal and are not sealed/stamped in an envelope. An unofficial transcript is typically requested to provide proof of grades for an insurance company or other personal needs. We no longer accept requests for unofficial transcripts. You can log into your PowerSchool account and print/download an unofficial copy following these instructions
Official Transcripts- do have the school seal and are stamped and placed in a sealed envelope. There are rare instances that a current student would need an official transcript. Current students can request an official transcript by completing the online transcript request form.
Seniors:
College Applications: you will be given an unofficial transcript with your schedule on Arena Day to use while filling out your college applications. If you misplaced it, please email Jan Smith at jbsmith@fcusd.org for a replacement.
Scholarships: Transcript requests for scholarship applications are made through the online transcript request form. Allow one business day for your request to be processed.
A NOTE REGARDING TRANSCRIPTS
Applying to a UC or CSU:
DO NOT send a transcript unless requested by the college. This usually does not happen during the admissions process but if it does, it will be AFTER the application is due. An official transcript can be sent directly to the school by completing the transcript request form on the counseling webpage. Be sure to allow for the 24 hour processing time.
Once you have committed to a school, a FINAL transcript with proof of graduation will need to be sent. This request is made by completing the Senior Survey in which is due May 1.
Applying to a private or out of state school that uses the Common Application/SendEDU:
Your counselor will upload your official transcript directly. You DO NOT need to request a transcript.
Applying to a private or out of state school that DOES NOT use the Common Application/SendEDU:
A transcript could be required. Consult the specific school website to confirm. An official transcript can be sent directly to the school by requesting using the transcript request form on the counseling website. Be sure to allow for the 24 hour processing time.
Scholarships:
SOME scholarships ask that you include a transcript with your application. An official transcript can be sent directly to the scholarship sponsor by completing the transcript request form found on the counseling webpage. Be sure to allow for the 24 hour processing time.
