  • Teacher of the Month

Folsom High School is proud to congratulate Eric Wright, Physics Teacher, for being named ABC10’s January Teacher of the Month! ABC10 profiled Eric Wright in a newscast! To see the story, click here:

Teacher of the Month/Teacher of the Year is ABC10’s way of honoring exemplary teachers in our community and say ‘thank you’ for their hard work. ABC10 viewers, students, principals, parents, family and friends nominate educators they feel deserve this title. Each month Sac State selects a teacher out of this pool of nominees to be honored as ‘Teacher of the Month, receiving a $1,000 dollar check from School’s Financial Credit Union, a profile story on ABC10 and, an awards banner for the school, two award certificates (one for school and one for teacher) digital logos and other prizes!

Plus, all nominees are put in the running for Esquire IMAX and ABC10’s ‘Teacher of the Year’ winning an additional $5,000 dollars courtesy of School’s Financial Credit Union. The ‘Teacher of the Year’ ceremony is held every June at the fantastic Esquire IMAX Theater in downtown Sacramento.

    Cap and Gown
    Herff Jones

To participate in the graduation ceremony, all graduates must wear a cap, gown, and tassel in approved school colors. Students have two options to secure a cap, gown, and tassel for graduation:

For students, Remind provides an easier way to stay informed outside of the classroom. Students can download the app and opt-in to receive messages faster with push notifications, so they never miss a beat!
