Anti-Hoax Links
Like a lot of organizations, we constantly
struggle with keeping up to date on the latest viruses making their way around
the world. Additionally, we also struggle with e-mail and web site hoaxes
designed to get our users to pass along messages "to everyone you know" in
response to claims, threats or news that's not actually true.
To that end, the following links offer
handy resources you can use to check the validity of anything you receive (we
never recommend you send virus or other technical news to "everyone you know"
via e-mail under any circumstances anyway).
As always, if in doubt, just contact our
office, if it's urgent, or have your Site Technology Manager enter a work order
to have your computer checked.
