This will be the last update of this website for this year.  In the coming school year, this website will join the District's Edline portal.  Parents will then become able to keep up with school activities, extra-curricular activities,  homework and grades all in one spot.  This promises to be another tool for parents to stay on top of their child's school life.

School will resume on Monday, August 14th!  Have a terrific summer!

ALL visitors and volunteers are asked to sign-in at the front office and receive a yellow VISITOR badge.  This badge identifies you as someone who is authorized to be on campus and should be worn at all times while on the campus.  We realize that coming to the office is a nuisance, however it is for the safety of our students and staff that we identify all those who are authorized to be with here with your child(ren) and our valued staff.  Thank you for taking the extra few minutes to stop in to let us know you are here!  (19 Jauary 2006)

Check out the new Class Pages for Rooms16-18!

The week of May 15-19 marks our annual salute to our "most excellent" teachers and staff of Cordova Gardens.  Please take a few minutes out of your busy day to let your child(ren)'s teacher know how much you appreciate their efforts to educate and guide your child in this big, scary world.  It's just a small reward to those who "make a difference"!  (18 May 2006)

Come and see the work of some of our most scientific and creative minds at Cordova Gardens.  Science Fair is open to our students and their families tonight, May 18, 6-8PM in the Multi.  (18 May 2006)

The Cordova Gardens Talent Show will have two performances on Thursday, May 25th in the Multi.  The first one for all of the students and parents who choose to catch the early matinee will be at 9:45 AM; the evening performance will begin at 6:00 PM.  Please come out and support these wonderful kids!  (18 May 2006)

Thank You!

A big warm and fuzzy "THANK YOU" to all of our parent and adult volunteers.  It is because of YOU that our children have had terrific field trips, untold number of educational materials copied and lots of encouraging words when teachers are stretched thin.  You've also given our fundraisers that extra "oomph", been there when we needed extra hands and just made our school just a better place to learn.   You are wonderful role models for our children!   Please accept our thanks at the Volunteer Reception on May 24, 3PM in the Multi.  Hope to see you there!  (18 May 2006)

The Promotion Ceremony for our students moving on to Middle School will start at 9:00 am on June 2d in the Multi.  Congratulations and our best wishes go to our students as they leave us and embark on a new adventure in learning!  (18 May 2006)

Awesome Eagle Spirit!

To the students who participated in the District Track Meet on May 17th!  Although this was our first try at this meet, our 19 students ribboned in every event bringing home close to 80 ribbons total!  Coaches Allen and Anson are extremely proud of their group and hope to return next year with a bigger and more spirited group of Cordova Eagle!

To our Cordova Gardens Choir and their participation in the District Spring Chorale at Folsom Middle School on Tuesday, May 16th!  Their singing talent and their kazoo playing - well, what more can one ask from a school choir!  Miss Farruggia and Miss Favro did a terrific job showcasing our talented youngsters at this show!  (18 May 2006)
